Felipe is an environmental engineer graduate of Universidade Federal do Paraná and former researcher in cosmetics industry, implementing Life Cycle Assessment on product development and developing an environmental impact monitoring system, based on life cycle and indicators. He is experienced in the following areas: Life Cycle Assessment Approach, Life Cycle Design, Life Cycle Inventory and Social Life Cycle Assessment.
Tiago is graduated in Computer Science and has experience in computational tools applied in Environmental Management. He is studying for a Masters degree in Mechanical and Materials Engineering in Universidade Federal do Paraná, developing activities research on Life Cycle Assessment and biofuels. ROTULAGEM AMBIENTAL TIPO I E III
Os selos ambientais aparecem em forma de declaração ou em forma de símbolo. A ISO
estabeleceu três categorias de selos: tipos I, II e III.
Selos do Tipo I são aqueles que comparam os produtos com outros da mesma categoria, e concedidos àqueles que são ambientalmente preferíveis devido ao seu ciclo de vida (ACV).
São multicriteriosos e são certificados por entidades de Programas de 3ª Parte, que estabelece os critérios e os monitora através de certificação, auditoria e processo.
Selos do Tipo II são os das reinvindicações ambientais que são feitas pelos próprios
fabricantes, importadores ou distribuidores para os seus produtos, sem avaliação de
organizações de 3ª Parte. Não são verificados independentemente, não usam os critérios préestabelecidos e aceitos como referência, e são questionáveis como sendo o menos informativo
das três categorias de selos ambientais.
Selos do Tipo III são aqueles que listam critérios de impactos ambientais para produtos
através do seu ciclo de vida. São semelhantes aos selos de produtos alimentícios que detalham
seu teor de gordura, açúcar ou vitaminas.
